2017 11th International Encaustic Conference Shows

In Residence: New York

Mitchell Visoky will be one of three artists exhibiting their glasswork in, In Residence: New York, at Bullseye Glass Resource Center Gallery. This is a sample of his work, that was created in 2015, during his 3 month art residency. The show runs from December 20th to March 18th. An artist’s reception will be held on Saturday, March 4th from 3-5 pm. The Center is located at 115 Hoyt Ave., Mamaroneck, NY.

The Lazarus Gallery United Hebrew of New Rochelle is presenting a group exhibition featuring the works of local ceramic and glass artists, organizations, and guilds. The exhibition will present contemporary clay, glass, and enamel art that is being created today in these related craft fields. Included works may be two and three-dimensional; functional work and sculpture will both be accepted. Works will be chosen for their melding of technical excellence, classical technique, content, and for daring to push boundaries.
Robin Zane, Curator of the Lazarus Gallery and Jodi Moise, Curator, Art Program and Collection at Montefiore Medical Center will jury this show.
